Do you comment?
I don’t very often, nor do I really ask my readers (both of you) to, save when I am looking for the answer to a question, like I did yesterday. But I tried answering a question from Dharmesh Shah in his comments section.
In general, I would rather have a trackback than a comment - distributing the conversation seems like the core of the blogging experience. But certainly people like Mike Arrington think that is wrong, that the comments section is where its at (though then he bemoans the dearth of links).
This also brings up a broader issue, of whether content and value comes from amending someone else’s playground, or adding off-site. Worth considering in more detail.
